The Trinity of chords is obviously not my invention or my original concept. The idea has been around for at least two centuries. Only my name is new because we really need something to remember to associate the sounds in a way that we can remember them. You will find the use of these chords in music of countless great composers.
The principle it’s rather easy to understand.

The three chords in the Trinity are related because their roots together form an augmented chord. That means, for instance, that if we think of a C augmented chord, which has C E Ab, we will use major or minor chords that have those three roots. The result is that we can morph from one to the other chord with from one to three half tone slides.
