This is about a shepherd playing a flute. He plays three solos, and each solo is followed by music that is descriptive. Debussy used modes and altered modes. It is not hard to play in terms of getting the notes, but it requires considerable sophistication to make the music come alive. I believe this is one of the best miniatures that Debussy ever wrote.
I would enjoy teaching this to more people.

Sometimes finding appropriate pictures is difficult, and it can take a really long time. But for this piece I immediately found all the great pictures I needed and that helped me complete the video in record time. I will mention here that this is the fifth piece of Debussy’s “Children’s Corner”, and it is the last that I will present.
o.O This was Debussy?! I’ve had this in the demo bank of my Roland since I got it, and I like it, but yours has so much more expression.
Instant love of the piece – from the opening, to everything thereafter. I like the idea of the “three solos”.
I like these, the energies they both have are separate from each other but nice.
