1757: Haydn: Symphony No. 17 in F major, age 26

Mr. Peabody Says:

Hogwood is faster and lighter. The longer times are due to repeats: I would start with the last movement because it’s short and light: Finale: 3:00. This is yet another early symphony, and the number 17 has nothing to do with when it was written.

Christopher Hogwood/The Academy of Ancient Music

  3. Finale: 3:00
