Flanders & Swann
(singing Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 4)
This, by the way, is not easy to sing or play on the piano. These two guys are famous among musicians, and for those of us who know their comedy bit we can’t hear Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 4 without thinking of them.
I liked this one because it made me crack a smile and is different than a lot of music you hear everyday.
The first and second are different in many ways. The one way (I thought of anyway) was that the first was more comedic and the second more professional. The first’s lyrics weren’t present in the second and the Horn wasn’t present in the first. The first comedic pianist, the second professional horn. I guess he got better after he found his horn!
Nice. Jeremy
I’ve heard this quite a few times, but never on a valveless horn.
Very entertaining. I hope he finds his horn.
My favorite part – “In spite of the neighbors who begged me to stop.”
The French horn sounded good.
